  2. Fill the water tank with 500 ml of fresh drinking water.
  3. Place a container under the coffee outlet.
  4. Press the button on top of the machine and lock the lever into place.
  5. Then push the button three times to release the hot water.
  6. Once the machine is done, empty the water tank and container and reattach them.
  7. Unplug the machine and eject the used capsule.
  8. Then close the machine and lock the lever.
  9. Hold the button while replugging it in and release it when the machine is turned on.
  10. The machine will now go through a self-cleaning cycle, where it will release hot water and steam.
  11. The machine automatically stops, and the cleaning is done.
  12. Rinse the water tank and the other removable parts with clean water.

Vertuo Plus

  4. After all the water has poured in, then rinse the drip tray and capsule container and dry the machine with a clean cloth.

Lattissima

Although cleaning a home espresso machine may seem like a daunting task, it’s actually quite simple. The Lattissima machine is one of the most popular coffee machines in the world, and it has a pretty simplistic cleaning process. Below are a few tips on how to clean the Lattissima machines.

Lattissima Pro

  1. After every use, make sure to discard the used capsule.
  2. Make sure to regularly empty the capsule container and drip tray to avoid overflowing.

  6. Fill the milk jug with drinking water from the MIN or MAX limit mark and place it under the steam wand.
